You can wake up tomorrow with the same money, people and in the same place and choose to be happier!
When people come to me for help they are usually in a place of struggle. The first step is to feel better about where you currently are. You can’t fix a situation while you’re feeling intense shame, guilt and struggle over it. Whether it’s money, relationships or your personal past you don’t start by changing it and simply fixing it. You start by feeling better about the same shit you felt horrible about yesterday. Then and only then can you begin to change it.
I’ve actually never liked the “It could be worse” answer to someone’s problems. I prefer “I could think better about it”.
Somewhere someone is dealing with a very similar situation as you but they are still feeling happy.
